Full & Partial Dentures
for Patients in the Abilene, Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Potosi, Clyde, Breckenridge, Brownwood, and Sweetwater, TX Areas

Many people turn to dentures if they have suffered a complete loss of their teeth or even just a partial loss in an arch. Dentures can also be helpful for those who still have their teeth but struggle with issues related to chewing or speaking that can be improved with new teeth.

There are two types of dentures available for patients – complete dentures and partial dentures. The difference is fairly easy to understand. Complete dentures are used to replace a complete set of missing teeth. Partial dentures are created for patients who only have some teeth missing. Either way, the dental office of Robert R. Hawley, DDS, FACP can create dentures to fill in the spaces created by missing teeth.

At the Dental Office of Robert R. Hawley, DDS, FACP, we offer both conventional and immediate dentures. Conventional dentures are made based on a mold taken of your teeth and mouth. This may take 4 to 6 weeks to create, and the patient will have missing teeth during that time. The other option is for immediate dentures which are made before the teeth are extracted and can be placed immediately after a tooth extraction during the same appointment. We also offer emergency dental work for any other services you may need immediately.

For more information about the type of dentures we offer, please feel free to contact our office in Abilene, TX to schedule a consultation!

Reasons for Dentures

  • Complete Denture - Loss of all teeth in an arch.
  • Partial Denture - Loss of several teeth in an arch.
  • Enhancing smile and facial tissues.
  • Improving chewing, speech, and digestion.

The process of having dentures created and ready for use in your mouth usually takes multiple appointments and several weeks. We first have to take an accurate impression of your teeth to create a denture that perfectly matches. We will have you try on your dentures to make sure they are the right fit. Adjustments will be made as necessary.

Your new dentures will allow you to return to normal use of your teeth. You’ll feel comfortable and confident in your smile again and enjoy improvements to your eating, chewing, and speaking abilities. Contact the dental office of Robert R. Hawley, DDS, FACP for more information about how our full or partial dentures work and how we can help you. We take great pride in helping patients throughout Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Potosi, Clyde, Breckenridge, Brownwood, Sweetwater, TX, and the surrounding areas.
